Abstract: Mycobacterium abscessus complex is a group of rapidly growing non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM), increasingly emerging as opportunistic pathogens. Current treatment options for these microorganisms are limited and associated with a high rate of treatment failure, toxicity and recurrence.
