Durch Protophytobia cupressorum gen. nov., sp. nov. (Agromyzidae, Diptera) verursachte Markflecke in einem Holz von Juniperoxylon aus dem Tertiär von Süd‐Limburg (Niederlande) und der Nachweis von Markflecken in einer rezenten Callitris‐Art

Abstract: Von einem durch Kräusel & Schönfeld (1924) beschriebenen Cupressaceen‐Holz aus dem Tertiär von Süd‐Limburg (Niederlande) nahm Greguss (1970) Stücke heraus, die Insektenfraß aufweisen. In einer rezenten Callitris‐Art aus Australien fand er die gleiche Erscheinung (1970). Greguss betrachtete indessen die Erscheinung als natürliche spezifische Holzeigenschaft. Indications about its occurrence in Circoporoxylon grandiporosum Müller–Stoll & Schultze–Motel from the early Jurassic of France and Circoporoxylon barnimense Süss & Knöfler from the early Jurassic of Brandenburg, Germany can be found in Süss & Philippe (1993) and Süss & Knöfler (2013) , respectively.…”
