Abstract: Maps of brain microarchitecture are important for understanding neurological function and behavior, including alterations caused by chronic conditions such as neurodegenerative disease. Techniques such as knife-edge scanning microscopy (KESM) provide the potential for whole organ imaging at sub-cellular resolution.
