Dye-coated stationary-phases: A retention model for anions in ion-interaction chromatography

Abstract: The separation of inorganic anions (NO3-, NO2-, CI-, Br-, I-, SO42-, S2032-) by ion-interaction chromatography mediated with a specific dye has been investigated. Chromatography was performed on a LiChrospher RP-18 column dynamically coated with crystal violet, using acetonitrile-water buffered with phthalate as the mobile phase.
