Abstract:To study the effect of a dye on the photoluminescence (PL) properties of metal complexes, a series of gold(I) complexes were synthesized, containing a 7‐amino‐4‐methylcoumarin luminophore. The complexes are comprised of a coumarin moiety featuring different ancillary ligands, specifically N‐heterocyclic carbenes, triphenylphosphine, and diphenyl‐2‐pyridylphosphine.
