Abstract:Numerous studies have investigated the use of nanosilica particles for enhanced oil recovery (EOR). Many of these studies focused on experiments involving LHP (lipophobic and hydrophilic polysilicones) and HLP (hydrophobic and lipophilic polysilicones) in water-wet sandstones and oil-wet carbonate rocks.
