Abstract:In this paper, the Gun Barrel, which is equated to a cantilever beam is subjected to a moving load and its deflection is observed. The output is received through both analytical and numerical methods and a comparison is drawn to support the above arguments. The analytical solution is obtained on Maple software and its numerical counterpart is observed on MATLAB software.
