Dynamic Fracture Mechanism of Quasicrystal-Containing Al–Cr–Fe Consolidated Using Spark Plasma Sintering

Abstract: The potential applications of quasicrystals (QCs) in automotive and aerospace industries requires the investigation of their fracture and failure mechanisms under dynamic loading conditions.
