Dynamic Generation of Cultural Routes in a Tourist Guide

Abstract: Due to its unique geographical location, for thousands of years the region of Bulgaria used to be a crossroads for many nationalities. The enormous Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage is little known outside the country and modern information and communication technologies have not been used in their full potential to promote and advertise it. The preservation and dissemination of knowledge about cultural, historical, and natural sites in Bulgaria is extremely important. In this regard, the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Plovdiv University is developing a project related to the implementation of an intelligent tourist guide (Stoyanova-Doycheva et al, 2020a), which, according to the tourist's criteria, generates virtual or real tourist routes.
