Dynamic inverse controller with Matrix Converter Drive Feed Three Phase Induction Motor

Abstract: Dynamic inversion (DI) is a controller technique by which existing undesirable dynamics are cancelled out and changed by desirable dynamics. The application of induction motor drives with sinusoidal input currents a matrix converter combined with DI is used which directly connects a three-phase input voltage source to a three-phase (AC-AC converter) without dc-link components. This paper presents a novelty of using nonlinear dynamic inverse controller with matrix converter topologies on three phase induction m… Show more

“…The issue of minimum-energy control in different control strategies is a complex problem and is attractive for a whole range of researchers dealing with both theoretical and practical problems. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] Modern industry control systems impose restrictions on the control signals due to the existing technological limitations. [9][10][11] In order to meet the requirements of robustness, a number of techniques are applied in the engineering tasks.…”

“…Armature reaction may reduce the flux Ф, and hence reduce Td, so that the actual relationship between Td and TL is curved slightly below the straight line .The load torque TL is less than the developed torque Td due to rotational losses, see (6) so that the TL curve is slightly below the Td curve ( Figure 4). The relationship between torque and current is sometimes called the torque characteristic of the motor [11].…”
