“…The simulated results of ice temperature showed that the average temperature of the HLG glacier in study area was about −1.5 ºC, much higher than − 5.2ºC of the H8 glacier in Tianshan Mountains and −5.5 ºC of the SG3 glacier in Qilian Mountains (Wu, et al, 2021;Wu, et al, 2019).While the ice temperature at the bed rock was between −0.25ºC and −1.45ºC, reaching the range of the pressure melting point (Geng-nian, et al, 2009;Isenko, et al, 2005).These exists many crevasses and melt holes on the surface, and englacial channel extend in all directions. In addition, perennial high atmospheric temperature leads to the higher whole ice temperature.…”

“…The numerical methods for the full-Stokes model could be obtained using the finite elements based on the code of Elmer (http://www.csc.fi/elmer). The specific methods and algorithm designs have been presented in some studies (Gagliardini, et al, 2013;Seddik, et al, 2012;Wu, et al, 2021;Wu, et al, 2019) and would not be described in detail here. The Elmer/Ice model solves the thermal and mechanical coupling problems of ice flow by considering the relationship between temperature and deformation of ice flow, and is a model for comprehensively evaluating the dynamic mechanism of glaciers.…”

“…The region's highest and lowest recorded temperatures were in January (−14.8 • C) and July (9.8 • C), respectively. The plant growing period is approximately 150 d, and there is no absolute frost-free period throughout the year [26].…”
