Abstract: The magnitude and temporal evolution of the quantum-state renormalization (QSR), or the energetic shifting of the quantum-confinement states caused by photoexcitation and changes in electron screening, were probed in transient absorption (TA) spectroscopy measurements of colloidal semiconductor nanoparticles.
