Dynamic reflectivity of an opto-acoustic three-layer transducer for picosecond ultrasonic measurements

Abstract: We present an analysis of a three-layered structure used for both launching and detecting picosecond acoustic waves. To enhance the optical sensitivity to the acoustic disturbances, a cavity is designed, which acts as a Fabry–Perot interferometer.
