Dynamic response analysis of functionally graded gears

Abstract: In this study, dynamic response analysis of functionally graded gears (FGGs) has been performed using a 6-degree of freedom dynamic model. The pinion and gear are divided into homogeneous sub-domains of uniform thickness, conforming to the gear tooth profile.
