A survey on trust management in the Social Internet of Things (SIoT) is provided, beginning with a discussion of SIoT architectures and relationships. Using a variety of publication databases, we describe efforts that focus on various trust management aspects of SIoT . Trust management models comprise three themes: trust computation, aggregation, and updates. Our study presents a detailed discussion of all three steps. Trust computation and trust aggregation depend upon Trust Attributes (TAs) for the calculation of local and global trust values. Our paper discusses many strategies for aggregating trust, but "Weighted Sum" is the most frequently used in the relevant studies. Our paper addresses trust computation and aggregation scenarios. Our work classifies research by TAs (Social Trust, Quality of Service). We've categorized the research (reputation-based, recommendation-based, knowledge-based) depending on the types of feedback/opinions used to calculate trust values (global feedback/opinion, feedback from a friend, trustor's own opinion considering the trustee's information). Our work classifies studies (policy-based, prediction-based, weighted sum-based/weighted linear combination-based) by trust computation/aggregation approach. Two trust-update schemes are discussed: time-driven and event-driven schemes, while most trust management models utilize an event-driven scheme. Both trust computation and aggregation need propagating trust values in a centralized, decentralized, or semi-centralized way. Our study covers classifying research by trust updates and propagation techniques. Trust models should provide resiliency to SIoT attacks. This analysis classifies SIoT attacks as collaborative or individual. We also discuss scenarios depicted in the relevant studies to incorporate resistance against trust-related attacks in SIoT. Studies suggest context-based or context-free trust management strategies. Our study categorizes studies based on context-based or contextfree approaches. To gain the benefits of an immutable, privacy-preserving approach, a future trust management system should utilize Blockchain technology to support non-repudiation and tracking of trust relationships.

In today's era, every electrical and electronic device is connected very intelligently. These electronic devices like sensors, RFIDs, actuators are becoming an important part of the structure. It is required to connect to the internet. Internet is used in every aspect of daily life. There are drastic changes in the usage of the most demanding and useful technology known as the Internet of Things (IoT). In this field, IoT has been shown one of the important which connect various physical objects with the internet with unique identification. Billions of objects are enabled with the internet and interconnected with each other to interface with Human-to-Machine or Machine-to-Machine to take decisions of data transaction without human involvement. This internet enables devices connected to our social life which is terme as Social Internet of Things (SIoT). Hence we can say SIoT is an expansion IoT. People and things are connected with social networks which are known as Human to Things (H2T) interactions. Some of the devices are authentic and some are suspicious. The essential utilization of services within SIoT makes a secured network closely rely on origin of services (Service provider) and services accesed by end terminal (Service requester). Due to a lack of trust technologies, trust SIoT is still not so much popular in the market as demanding technology for the researcher and developer. Device owners are worried about sharing the data or receiving any information. Therefore, trust devices are required to identify in the connected network..Hence minimization of risk and uncertaintity within the system are analyse by the degree of trust for Particular Trust Management System(TMS).Trust and Trustworthiness are novel fields in social networking environment clearlify by investigating the research article under SIoT. In present paper, our contribution starts with the introduction and then is further fragmented in three phases.The first phase represent the basic of trust and SIoT. Second phase categorizes the trust management solutions from the literature review. The third phase identifies and discuses issues, challenges and requirement in current scenario of SIoT and also depicts how developing trust and trustworthiness among social devices interaction as challenging task.

Internet of things plays a major role in all the applications that are utilized for automating the environment. In this, the searching of devices in the larger network is a tedious process. Further, it became easier by defining the social relationship among the devices in the network. Social Internet of things is the combination of real-world network and multiple devices in the Internet of things. In social Internet of things, the user can access information globally at any place based on its ID. But, the accessing of this ID in the large database is difficult. Several works were carried out to locate the ID of the devices in the social Internet of things [SIoT]. Community and effective search-based algorithm is one of the methods for effective localization of devices in the social Internet of things as the conventional method for device localization. The Routing protocol for Low power and Lossy networks (RPL) able to increase lifetime of network with high packet loss. In existing, the localization and routing is performed separately. This problem is overcome with the proposed trust-based community nodes and optimized RPL in social Internet of things network. Here, the community is formed with the combination of high trust and low trust nodes of similar taste. These trusted node-based community formation helps to locate the trusty nodes in the transmission process. The dragon fly optimization is used to improve the RPL performance by selecting trusty nodes as next hop in the routing process. Due to the combination of trust community and optimized RPL, the lifetime and success rate of the data transmission is increased by 90% as compared to the existing preference-based device localization and traditional RPL protocol. The whole process is realized with the help of MATLAB R2018a in windows 10 environment. Therefore, the proposed trust community and optimized RPL is best
