Dynamically relevant recurrent flows obtained via a nonlinear recurrence function from two-dimensional turbulence

Abstract: This paper demonstrates the efficient extraction of unstable recurrent flows from two-dimensional turbulence by using nonlinear triads to diagnose recurrence in direct numerical simulations.
