Abstract: This study analyses the dynamics of nuclear energy policies in India by using Punctuated Equilibrium Theory (PET) and examines the emergence of India’s Nuclear Safety Regulatory Authority (NSRA) bill as an outcome of punctuation of policy equilibrium.
