Dynamics of psychophysiological functions and indicators of physical and technical readiness in young football players aged 12–13 and 15–16 years during a 3-month training process

Abstract: Introduction. The purpose of the research was to provide a comparative characteristic of the dynamics of psychophysiological functions and indicators of physical and technical readiness of young footballers aged 12-13 and 15-16 years during 3 months of training. Methods. The study involved 24 football players; 12 were 12-13 years old, 12 were 15-16 years old. Parameters characteristic of determining the psychophysiological status, indicators of the nervous system work capacity, and attention indicators were an… Show more

“…It combines the requirements of football that athletes have the ability to respond quickly and start quickly, so that athletes can quickly respond to changes in the situation on the field during the game, at the same time, this training requires athletes to have a strong tactical comprehension ability, and has higher requirements for the ability of athletes to quickly play the ball and handle the ball quickly, with this ability, it is ensured that the technical and tactical training and physical training of the entire team are well completed. 9 In the process of repeated impact, the speed endurance of athletes has been better trained, research has proved that young football players need better speed endurance and the ability to repeatedly run fast with high intensity, in the experiment, the athletes are required to fully attack and fully defend, and devote themselves to the attack and defense, which can better train the athletes' speed and endurance ability, and develop the athletes' ability to supply mixed oxygen. Athlete's aerobic capacity is the basis for ensuring long-term exercise.…”

“…Modern scientists (Kozina, Kozin, Cieślicka, Prusik, Muszkieta, Sobko, Ryepko, Bazilyuk, Polishchuk, Osiptsov, Kostiukevych, 2017;2020 [14,15,16,24,25] actively use multidimensional analysis methods for study of the structure of integral preparedness of young and qualified athletes in various sports. Leading Ukrainian specialists Kozina, Kozin, Boychuk, Skaliy, Zelenskiy, Honcharenko (2019, 2021) consider the most suitable mathematical tool -factor analysis, which allows you to reduce a wide range of readiness indicators and identify the main components that determine the exact characteristics of individual characteristics of athletes [14,15].…”

“…This is due to the limitation of mobility in the joints due to muscle hypertrophy and strengthening of the ligamentous apparatus, excessive muscle pumping leads to a decrease in flexibility. Therefore, it is necessary to increase flexibility only to the extent that it is necessary for optimal movement technique in this sport [5,23,24].…”

“…However, analyzing the current state of the issue of constructing the educational and training process in physical education at universities, a number of authors [8,24,25] note that currently there are two extremes: athletes either train in an almost maximum mode, which interferes with professional improvement in chosen specialty, or no attention is paid to the competent construction of the educational and training process. And, thus, the indicated contradiction between the purpose of sports training and the need for improvement in the chosen professional activity is not currently being resolved in full.…”
