Dynamics of Structural Materials Destruction - The Initial Stage

Abstract

We consider a mathematical model of the initial stage of the process of destruction of structural material. The mathematical model is the initial boundary value problem for the system of four partial differential equations of the fourth order. This is a system of equations for functions of the temperature, the velocity, the enthalpy and the destruction parameter. For the different values of parameters, the results of numerical investigation of temporal cross-sections of all dimensionless variables are presented and discussed.
