Early Intensive Resuscitation of Patients With Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding Decreases Mortality

Abstract: Early intensive resuscitation of patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding significantly decreases mortality. Physicians involved in the care of patients with UGIB should focus on early and rapid correction of hemodynamics, HCT, and underlying coagulopathy.
