Abstract: Early diagnosis of radiation-induced pulmonary fibrosis (RIPF) in lung cancer patients after radiation therapy is important. A gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR) mediates the inflammation and fibrosis after irradiation in mice lungs.
