Early Rehabilitation Programs Improve Pain and Disability in Patients with Lumbar Disc Protrusion: A Prospective Controlled Study

Abstract: Low back pain is a common problem in the active population, and the second reason for visiting a physician. In patients with lumbar disc protrusion, the nucleus pulposus bulges against the disc and the latter protrudes into the spinal column, but the annulus fibrosus remains intact.
