Early Surgical Management and Triple Antibiotic Regimen in the Management of Necrotizing Fasciitis of Scalp

Abstract: Necrotizing fasciitis (NF) is a rare yet alarming condition faced by a maxillofacial surgeon. This article would emphasize the importance of early aggressive surgical management with triple antibiotic regimen of penicillinase-resistant penicillin, aminoglycoside and metronidazole in the successful management of NF.
