“…Another approach that complements OER is to leverage library e-Books by encouraging faculty to use them in place of a textbook. University of South Florida Libraries facilitates this through a locally created database that enables easy discovery of e-Book options and a direct way to adopt or request new, e-Books (Mi and Pollock, 2019). OERs have the potential to reduce reliance on the textbook industry business model.…”
