The background to the case presentation stated that acute coronary syndrome or PCI patients may not drive for 4 weeks post Correction event. This is the case if the acute coronary syndrome is not successfully treated by angioplasty/PCI. However, some patients, including those undergoing elective PCI, would be eligible to drive after 1 week. Readers are reminded to refer to the full DVLA guidance when advising patients.
