Sciences. Currently the president of the Curia of Hungary, former justice of the Constitutional Court, former Deputy Prosecutor General. He had served also as Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Venice Commission. He wrote his PhD on the ombudsman system, and his habilitation topic was the control mechanisms of public administration. Amongst others, he is a member of the European Law Institute, the Research Network on EU Administrative Law (ReNEUAL), the Rule of Law Institute (Lublin), and also editorial board member of several legal journals. He is the author of several monographs and other publications. His main fields of research are rule of law, constitutionalism and human rights, public administration and its forms of control.
