Ecological aspect of the larval parasitoid Diadegma hiraii (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) as a potential biological control agent of soybean pod borer Leguminivora glycinivorella (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)

Abstract: The larval parasitoid Diadegma hiraii (Kusigemati) was evaluated as a potential biological control agent of the soybean pod borer, Leguminivora glycinivorella (Matsumura). The timing of adult emergence after overwintering was ascertained, and land-use factors that enhance population density were analyzed.
