Abstract:This study aimed to systematically review the economic transformation (ET) literature to integrate fragmented insights, offer a comprehensive overview, and identify avenues for future research. Employing the systematic review methodology outlined by Tranfield et al. (2003), this study reviewed 39 relevant articles from the Scopus database, covering the period from 1945 to 2022.
