Abstract:An accurate, precise and reproducible high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for quantitative estimation of hydrochlorothiazide in tablet dosage forms. Chromatographic separation of the drug was achieved on a Kromasil C 18 column (150 x 4.6 mm; 5µ) using a mobile phase consisting of phosphate buffer (pH 2.5) and acetonitrile (50:50 v/v) at a flow rate of 0.6 mL/min.
