Editorial for the Special Issue on recent trends in traffic modelling and control

Abstract

SUMMARYThe papers included in this Special Issue propose innovative methodologies in traffic modelling and control, referring either to freeway networks or to urban areas. These research works are devoted to the development of innovative analysis and control methods, improving and extending the existing approaches, that result to be of great interest both from a methodological point of view and in an applicative perspective.
