“…This paper introduces the Journal of Geophysical Research ‐ Planets special issue including some of the works presented at the workshop. This special issue follows a series of collections from previous meetings (Bishop, 2014; Bourke et al., 2010; Chojnacki & Telfer, 2017; Zimbelman, 2014; Zimbelman et al., 2013).
