Dear readers, We welcome you to the first issue of the year 2019, our 42nd volume of Revista Colombiana de Estadística-RCE (Colombian Journal of Statistics). We would like to start thanking authors, readers, committee members and referees for all the effort doing an excellent work. This has allowed our journal to continue publishing very interesting work.
