In 2022, the Journal of Interactive Marketing was added to the portfolio of journals of the American Marketing Association (AMA). The AMA provides the journal with a premier platform that allows it to further expand its reach and increase its visibility. The move to AMA also means a new acronym: In addition to JMR, JM, and JPPM, JIM was already taken by Journal of International Marketing. So, just like NSYNC, we decided to drop the "I" and go with JNM. We hope that this reference creates some warm feelings (or "sunshine in your pocket," as former NSYNC member Justin Timberlake might prefer to call it). If not, we hope that this story at least helps you remember the journal's acronym. 1
