Abstract: En la región del Gran La Plata se produce bajo cubierta alrededor de 4.600 ha de cultivos agrícolas, sobre suelos Typic Hapludert y Vertic Argiudol, caracterizados por un drenaje deficiente, que junto a la calidad del agua de riego y al manejo intensivo, conducen a degradaciones físicas, químicas y biológicas, que se vinculan con una elevada carga de patógenos (enfermedades y nematodos).
