O feijoeiro é uma cultura de ciclo vegetativo curto, bastante sensível à interferência de plantas daninhas. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a eficácia de herbicidas aplicados em pré-emergência no controle de Digitaria sanguinalis na cultura do feijão-carioca, bem como determinar a seletividade deles para a cultura. Os tratamentos avaliados foram: S-metolachlor (960, 1.440 e 1.920 g ha-1), alachlor (1.440, 1.920 e 2.400 g ha-1) e duas testemunhas sem aplicação de herbicidas (com e sem capinas). Avaliações visuais de controle para D. sanguinalis e fitotoxicidade para o feijão foram realizadas aos 20 e 40 dias após a emergência (DAE). Os herbicidas, em todas as doses avaliadas, foram eficientes no controle de D. sanguinalis. Aos 40 DAE, observou-se injúria no feijoeiro nas parcelas aspergidas com S-metolachlor nas maiores doses, porém sem efeito deletério na produtividade de grãos da cultura. O herbicida alachlor, embora eficiente no manejo de D. sanguinalis, causou fitotoxicidade ao feijão-carioca, reduzindo a produtividade da cultura em até 47%.

Seletividade de herbicidas aplicados em pré-emergência, isolados e em misturas, na cultura do algodão Palavras-chave -Produtividade. Fitotoxicidade. Gossypium hirsutum.Abstract -The culture of the cotton has great economic and social importance, because it is the fiber more frequently used in the textile section. However, the crop has high sensibility to weed and there are few selective herbicides for this crop. In this context, the objective of this study was to evaluate the selectivity of applied herbicides in pre-emergency on the culture of the cotton. The herbicides alachlor, S-metolachlor, diuron, prometryne, trifluralin and oxyfluorfen were separately applied and in mixtures with the variety FMT-701, in the places of Diamantino-MT and Campos de Júlio-MT. The experimental delimitation used was randomized blocks with 16 treatments and 4 repetitions. To evaluate the selectivity of the evaluations the height of the plants were observed 36, 66 and 150 days after the application (DAA), phytotoxicity to 14, 21, 29 and 36 DAA, stand to 21 and 49 DAA, number of apples to 141 DAA and productivity of the cotton in pit to 193 DAA. The results indicate that great part of the treatments provided damage during the initial phase of development and some treatments also resulted in the reduced height of plants at certain periods of evaluation. It was verified that the treatments did not provide significant difference in the stand of plants, in the number of apples and nor in the cotton productivity in pit, evidencing that all the appraised treatments can be used for weed control.

-The aim of this work was to evaluate the selectivity of fomesafen alone or in a tank mixture with other preemergent herbicides, with or without S-metolachlor application in early postemergence in cotton plant, cultivar DP 555 BG RR ® . The design utilized was a randomized complete block, organized in a split-plot arrangement, with four replications. For that, 24 herbicides were evaluated with fomesafen (0.45 and 0.625 kg ha ) applied in early postemergence. The variables evaluated were: phytotoxicity, insertion height of the first reproductive branch, plant height, stand, number of reproductive branches per plant, number of bolls per plant, bolls weight, and productivity of cotton seed. Fomesafen alone or in a tank mixture with preemergent prometryn, diuron, trifluralin and S-metolachlor was selective to cotton plant. Preemergent fomesafen isolated application followed by the application of S-metolachlor in early postemergence was also selective. However, on average, preemergent tank mixtures applied in association with preemergent S-metolachlor early application was not selective to cotton crop.Keywords: chemical control, Protox inhibitor, tank mixture, preemergence.
