Efeito de Produtos Fitossanitários Naturais Sobre Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) Vuill. in vitro

Abstract: The associated use of natural products with entomopathogenic fungi can be an efficient strategy to pest and disease control and to reduce the environmental impacts, however, these products can act adversely against the fungi, affecting its vegetative growth, conidiogenesis, viability and pathogenicity. In view of the above, were evaluated the in vitro effects of the commercial products Agro-mos ® , Ecolife ® and Dalneem ® (concentrations 0.25; 0.5; 1; 2 and 4%) and the plant extracts of Curcuma longa (Zingiber… Show more

“…Dalneem was classified as very toxic to B. bassiana at concentrations of 1, 2 and 4% (Mertz et al . ), differing from the Topneem product tested in the present work, which proved to be compatible with the fungus at all of the concentrations tested.…”

“…Similarly, 4% Dalneem inhibited conidiogenesis by 93·65% (Mertz et al . ). The results presented by these authors were different from those obtained in this study and the authors observed a negative influence of neem on the production of conidia; in the present work, this parameter was not adversely affected by Topneem.…”
