Abstract:The process of Ga electrodeposition is usually accompanied by intense hydrogen evolution reaction, so the escape rate of hydrogen bubbles from the electrode surface has a great influence on Ga electrodeposition. Here, Cu foams with different porosity were applied to study the effect of the escape rate of hydrogen bubbles on Ga electrodeposition. When Ga electrodeposition is controlled by mass transport process, Cu foams with high porosity exhibit a higher reaction rate of Ga electrodeposition because of their … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
