Abstract:Thin film coatings are required to improve the performance of components to resist harsh environments as the modern industry grows. In this study, Ni–Ag coatings with various Ag content were deposited on the Cu surface using an electrodeposition technique. The Ni–Ag coatings were deposited to enhance the tribological properties of the coatings and increase the service life of the friction-sliding components.
