The blood sugar, non-protein nitrogen, tot11 plaslnl protein, plasma albumi11, globulin, and fibrinogen of the Colurnbian black-tailed deer have been s t~~d i e d on two series of animals reared on high and low p l a~~e s of nutrition from birth to 465 days of age. Of these blood constituents only blood s~~g a r and fibrinogen showed a measurable lowering in the low plane animsls. Age changes have been noted that are independent of nutritive state but are similar to those reported for domestic ruminants.
