Abstract:acridine orange depends on the ratio of the amounts of aggregated and isolated molecules of the dye, which in turn depends on the conditions under which the composites are produced. In all cases energy is transferred from the coordinated polymer to the dye, leading to bimodal luminescence in the composites. The coordination polymers (CPs) formed by metal ions and polydentate organic bridging ligands (linkers) have attracted much interest in recent decades on account of their specific sorption, magnetic, optical… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
