Abstract: Objectives: Inhibitors of the renin-angiotensin system, namely, angiotensinconverting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI) and angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARB), and HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, statins, have been reported to have anti-inflammatory effects.
