Abstract:For this study, a modified barium hexaferrite based microwave and radar absorbing material was used. Synthesis and characterization of BaFe(12-2x)(MnTi)xO19 (0.1 ≤ x ≤ 1.0) have been prepared by solid state reaction method. The X-ray diffraction patterns reveal that all samples only crystallized into M-type barium hexaferrite after calcination at 1200 °C.
