Abstract:Soil-transmitted helminth (STH) infections are worm infections that can be facilitated by one or more intestinal parasitic worms such as roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides), hookworm (HW; Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus), threadworm (Strongyloides stercoralis), and whipworm (Trichuris trichiura).
