Abstract:In this paper, a novel polylactide-based nanocomposite with the addition of bentonite as a filler, Fusabond, and glycerine as a compatibilizer and plasticizer, were prepared and investigated. Four samples with different contents of bentonite (1, 5, 10, and 15 wt.%), as well as three samples without fillers, were prepared with an easily scalable method: melt blending.
