Effect of addition of butyl benzyl phthalate plasticizer and zinc oxide nanoparticles on mechanical properties of cellulose acetate butyrate/organoclay biocomposite AIP Conference Proceedings 1862, 030059 (2017) Abstract. In this paper, we report on the observation of magnetic properties of polycrystalline La0.7Ba0.3MnO3 and its magnetocaloric properties. This material has been intensively studied in the recent years because this material has a high potential application. The magnetic measurement was performed by using Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) in the range of temperature between 300-400 K under influencing magnetic field until 20 kOe. As inferred from the minimum value obtained from the derivatives of temperature dependence magnetization data, Curie temperature (Tc) of this material is 332 K. By using magnetic field versus magnetization data from isothermal condition measurement and thermodynamics Maxwell relation, the magnetic entropy change (ΔSM) of this material is -3.08 J.kg -1 K -1 . This value is higher than the solid state one from the previous study. It might occur due to physical properties of this material improved since preparation material via a sol-gel method could obtain fine particle and homogeneous distribution of particle size.
