Effect of carbon quantum dots and Zn2+ ion on perovskite solar cells

Hadeer Hussien,

M. S. Hassan
et al.

Abstract: Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have a great attention due to their remarkable performance and a high-quality perovskite film is necessary to achieve high power conversion efficiency (PCE). The effect of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) and Zn2+ ions on perovskite layer of methyl ammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) was investigated. The optical, structural, and morphological properties of perovskite films with different Zn2+ ratios and CQDs contents were investigated. It was observed that 1% ZnCl2 /0.05 mg/mL CQDs perovskit… Show more

“…Because of their exceptional qualities, perovskites have been thoroughly studied as absorber layers in solar technology. 189 Çisem Kırbıyık Kurukavak et al successfully synthesized phosphorus doped carbon dots (P-CQDs) by solvothermal method and investigated their effect as an additive on the perovskite film properties and photovoltaic performance here, with the goal of further enhancing the power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of MAPbI 3 perovskite solar cells. The outcomes show that phosphorus rich in electrons may function as a great core unit in the perovskite absorber layer to passivate surface imperfections for better crystallization and charge transport characteristics.…”
