Abstract:We studied the effect of natural dipeptide carnosine on phagocytosis, respiratory burst in neutrophils, and subpopulation composition of lymphocytes from healthy donors and alcoholic patients. Carnosine in vitro produced different effects on immunocompetent cells from healthy donors and patients with alcoholism.
