Effect of concentration of Ce(NO3)3 · 6H2O and temperature on the corrosion resistance of Al2O3/cerium oxide composite films on 1060 Al alloy

Abstract: In this paper, Al 2 O 3 /cerium oxide composite films were prepared on the surface of aluminum by anodic oxidation and chemical solution deposition. The aluminum was firstly anodized in sulfuric acid, then treated with different concentrations of Ce(NO 3 ) 3 · 6H 2 O solution at different temperatures.
