Abstract

Methods Study PopulationThis study reviewed 255 consecutive patients with severe aortic stenosis who underwent TAVI under general anesthesia from April 2016 to December 2018 at St. Marianna University Hospital, Japan. We excluded 44 patients who did not have TEE images, and 211 patients were finally included. This study protocol was approved by the St. Marianna University ethics committee. All patients agreed to participate in the study and written informed consent was given by all patients. The investigation was performed according to the Declaration of Helsinki.
