Abstract:Previous studies have shown that the breakdown of immunity to Nippostrongylus brasiliensis (Nb), a rat nematode used as a model for gastrointestinal parasitism, is sensitive to dietary protein supply, as measured at the small intestine, the parasite niche (1,2) .
